A real-time vehicle auction platform: a Next.js front end over ASP.NET Core microservices for auctions, bidding, search, identity and notifications.

Services sit behind a YARP gateway and talk over RabbitMQ with MassTransit and gRPC; SignalR pushes live bid updates to the browser; PostgreSQL and MongoDB run in Docker. Built alongside a course and extended as a portfolio project.

Highlights

  • Separated auction, bidding, search, identity, notification and gateway responsibilities into services behind a YARP gateway.
  • Connected services with RabbitMQ (MassTransit) events and gRPC, and pushed live bid updates to the UI over SignalR.
  • Ran PostgreSQL and MongoDB in Docker with auction unit and integration tests and search integration tests.
